Time Killing

Officeworks on corner of Ross St. and Parramatta Rd, is extremely convenient for us vets to be. If so your highlighter runs out during a lecture, just run across the road then you will be presented with other things you never knew you needed on top of that highlighter. Because we're found on the other side of campus, places for us to kill time are extremely limited. So what better way than to enter officeworks?
Theres something about stationary shopping that tickles me and even more so when theyre found under the words "Clearance". This particular officeworks have their clearance sections up to date and filled with good and decent things. Such as: 20c scissors, 10c metal sharpeners, 10c glue, liquid paper, $2 spiraled A4 notebooks, $1 bic 4-colour pens, 10c bus pass holders and the list goes on. I found this liquid paper for 50c the other week. Its absolutely tiny and so i can prove to you so, my super duper forensic skills illustrate that its just slightly bigger than a 50c coin!

Also, warmest welcomes to the newest addtion to my shoe collection (i only have 4 pairs of shoes ):

Too white you say? I know... but seeing as though basketball shoes DONT come in female sizes, i have to either settle for Mens or Kids sizes. Also, im very picky with my shoes, hence why i only have 4 pairs. These were the only basketball shoes which had my size, had the high sides (for the ankle support) and looked remotely okay. I might colour them up with some grey/black laces when i find some. Apprently they will introduce 2 womens styles in a few months which is a bit too late for me to wait around. Im assuming, like all womens sports shoes, theyre going to look horrendus.

Now for a picture of Matisse after a walk:

The penis is mightier than the sword

Uni has started for a week now-and by jove is it full on. My usual routine of microsleeping in lectures started on the third day vs. 7/8 weeks into the semester. This semesters subjects include:
+Anatomy and Physiology 2B
+Conservation Biology
+Equine Anatomy
+Principles of Disease
All subjects keep you on your toes in terms of preparing and making sure that you are up to date. For some reason this semester, the lecturers have been providing us "statistics" of the pass/fail bands and i dont like them very much. Nonetheless, in anatomy, we're learning about the genital and reproductive system. I have never heard the word "penis" so many times in one hour. The lecturer enlightened us that a few years back he had a student come to him at the end of a lecture asking him what was going on because throughout that lecture they sat there counting the number of times he said the word penis in the hour. It came to a grand total of 120! Which is equivalent to twice a minute. I must say, people look at you funny on the train because when you're reading your notes, theres phallic images drawn around your page to comprehend the anatomy of it all.

When we laugh indoors, the blissful tones bounce off the walls...

Yes! None other than Death Cab for Cutie! Who i saw last night !!! This is was my first ever live concert and i absolutely loved it! They were absolutely terrific live! They initially had one show in sydney but that sold out so they decided to do another. We managed to get into the second show and even that was a month booked out! Anyway i noticed i didnt quite fit into the crowd and wasnt quite emo enough. So note to self, dress more emo.

Winnar! X 2

Not only did i survive Vet II-Sem I but i won this while back from greenies (www.greenies.com.au). Submit your lovley photos of your dog eating a greenies stick and win $50 worth of useless junk! Well i wouldnt say the actual greenies sticks are useless seeing as though theyre quite expensive, but the little packets of "greenies bits" (the numerous square packets) are quote silly-just shavings off the real thing.

Post Exam Relief?

I couldnt beleive how many resources i needed for my 2 hour theory + 40 min practical anatomy and physiology exam. There are a whole lot more written notes to where that came from. This time next year no anatomy! Wooo! Oh, provided i pass that is :/
